In this session, Ezra Freedman, senior software developer at Schematic, demonstrates the fundamentals of Flash Lite programming, covering topics including file size optimization, key handling, ActionScript for Flash Lite, interface considerations and audio for mobile devices. He addresses key features and limitations of Flash Lite, and compares the technology to WAP2 and BREW. Finally, he presents an overview of the FlashCast client-server technology, and demos a FlashCast proof of concept he developed at Schematic.
